Answer Physical Therapy and Health Center, LLC was founded in 2004, by Dr. Melissa Mitchell on the premise that everyone should have the freedom to choose good quality health care that is individualized to meet its client's needs and help provide answers to better health and well-being.Our experienced and compassionate team is dedicated to the needs of each client. We work on providing a life changing experience that improves function, quality of life, and overall greater health and mobility.
Dr. Melissa Mitchell, PT, DPT
Dr. Melissa Mitchell, DPT founded Answer Physical Therapy and Health Center, LLC in 2004 with her husband Jim and her three children. She is a resident of Duncansville and has been providing physical therapy services since 1998. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Sports from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Physical Therapy from Chatham University, and a transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University. She has been providing Direct Access services for physical therapy since 2004. She believes in evidence-based medicine and individualized care. Melissa incorporates her experience and compassion when treating her patients. She specializes in sacroiliac joint disorders and lower back pain as well as orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports medicine. She enjoys baseball, horseback riding, and spending time with her friends and family.
Sheri Corle, PTA
Sheri graduated from Mount Aloysius College in 2007 as a PTA. She loves helping people reach their goals to be as functional as possible. She loves to go for walks, reading, and playing with her grandchildren. She enjoys gardening and other outdoor activities. She teaches Sunday school and enjoys bible study. She also loves to cook and bake.
Mary Jane Moyer, LMT
Mary Jane began to work at Answer Physical Therapy and Health Center, LLC in 2006. She graduated from Mt. Nittany Health and Massage School in December 2001, which gave her my certification in massage. Later when PA required a license for massage, she became a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is a member of ABMP(Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). She enjoys continuing education and massage classes every 2 years. She is experienced in Swedish, Lymph Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Trigger Point, & Myofascial Massage. She is interested in essential oils and how they are used to help balance the human body. Her goal is to try and help her clients reach a higher level of wellness and balance by decreasing the client's stress and discomfort and increasing their flexibility by using different massage techniques.
